Introduction:
Library of Things Port Kembla works to be responsible to patron needs and interests. The notion of sharing economy in recent years has inspired public libraries across the country to develop non-traditional collections of community access items. Both economic austerity and the aspiration to a minimalist lifestyle lead people to question the need for personal ownership of infrequently used items.
